When Matt Serra walks to the cage tomorrow night he can expect to be welcomed by a shower of boo’s. The entire Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana will be on the side of its hometown hero Chris “Lights out” Lytle. Not only was Lytle born and raised in Indianapolis, he is a firefighter for the Indianapolis Fire Department.

To add insult to injury for Serra, he defeated Lytle by split decision roughly 4 years ago at the TUF season 4 finale.  The fight was close and some thought that Lytle should have gotten the nod but it was the New Yorker getting his hand raised. Serra went on to fight for the welterweight title at UFC 69 against Georges St-Pierre, where he shocked the world by knocking out the champ.

At today’s weigh-ins Serra was given a glimpse at what he can expect to hear come fight time. Lytle easily got the biggest cheer from the crowd, while the complete opposite was given to Serra. While the boo-birds didn’t come out, the arena did go completely silent when Joe Rogan called out his name.

Both fighters have changed over the last four years and fans can expect a different fight this time around. Should the outcome be the same though, Serra will get an epic chorus of booing, making him Indianapolis’s public enemy #1….
